Do you think it's better when Hollywood turns a book into a movie? Do you think it's worse and why?

Depends who does the book really.
Example; Most Stephen King movies, IMO, suck, or are just silly, and B-Grade quality.
However, Director Frank Darabont, translated a couple of his books, into AMAZING films. The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, and The Mist.
A Series of Unfortunate Events translated into movie AWESOMELY, and is one of my favorite book series, and movies.
Yeah... I love book-to-movie translations when done right. I wanna see The Lovely Bones next.

Hey! I liked Rose Red even though it did suck in quality. I love Stephen King movies for their weirdness. lol Twilight sucked. I've heard good things about New Moon though.

From what I've seen, New Moon is even worse. But the fangirls rave on. O.o
And I didn't say ALL other Stephen King movies that were adapted into movies were bad. I loved some of his other ones too, but a lot of them did suck. I haven't seen all of Rose Red, so I can't elaborate. It is nostalgic for me though
But another good Stephen King book to movie I think is Dreamcatcher. I love that movie.

^ That's why I loved it... Haha.
And no idea on the New Moon thing. I haven't seen either. I wanted to read the original books first, then see the movies, as I imagine watching the movies first will ruin the series for me. O.o

No, they leave a lot of things out that were in the books. The books were funny and romantic. You should definitely read them.

Yeah... I wouldn't mind picking up the Saga... I can get it off a free prize site, but I'd have to grind 12 days for it... And I dunno if I wish to do that... Hahaha.
And what would you rate the movies, 1-10, and the books, also, 1-10?

I think it depends on the filmmaker or how the story is written in the book. The Lord of the Rings movies of course are excellent adaptations. Movies like Harry Potter are hit and miss.
